“The truth is, when you’re hosting a show like this, it’s not really about me, it’s about these incredible artists”, he said. “You are our light!”.

Adele’s musical homage to George Michael at the Grammys started out rocky, but shaped up to be a stunning tribute to the late artist.

This year’s controversy surrounding album of the year harks back to last year’s events.
