Geri Halliwell CONFIRMS Spice Girls talks to return in 2016
Geri Horner has confirmed the Spice Girls have had “talks” about marking the 20th anniversary of their debut single “Wannabe” and first album “Spice”.
The 43-year-old told The Sun that although a world tour is definitely on the cards, no solid plans have been made yet.
She went on: “But nothing is set in stone”. But the former Spice Girl knew from day one that she had found her Prince Charming, and speaking in a new interview, Geri has reminisced on her recent nuptials.
Better get those diaries together girls and find some free slot in future for this get-together – there’s a line of fans waiting for a reunion!
Geri said: “I think it’s really flattering that people are so supportive of the Spice Girls individually and collectively. We are still as close and constantly chatting on the phone with one another”, Geri Halliwell said, as quoted by Huffington Post. Let’s just see what happens. “It truly was the happiest day of my life, it was so fantastic”. The singer gushed over her 41-year-old husband and admitted for the first time she feels like she can be herself around a man.
“It bothers me that there are all these great female singers out there but there is no one singing for my generation and these songs are for women my age who have been through it and who are proud to be who they are”. And I am.’ Oh Gezza! I can be myself with him, I can breathe out. I don’t ever want to get divorced.
She said: “I’ve done a lot of work on it. I want people to hear that I can actually sing”. “I want me and Christian and Bluebell to have the same name, to be our family”.
It has been previously reported that Victoria Beckham hasn’t committed yet to the plan of having a Spice Girls reunion.
