Get Ready For A Chilly Start To The Week
WEDNESDAY – FRIDAY: More sunshine and drier conditions are expected midweek through Friday. That is going to increase our onshore flow, and temperatures will also be increasing very quickly so Wednesday at 70. Temperatures return to near 60 Thursday with scattered showers. On Halloween Tuesday we will see moisture, clouds, and a chance for rain, but rain chances should end before noon.
The Halloween forecast this year isn’t a “treat” for everyone, as cold air is setting its sights on Mid-Missouri once more. Rain chances drop to less than 10% by Saturday and remain there through early next week. Next weekend looks warm, but windy, especially on Sunday! A light freeze is likely for a good chunk of the viewing area early Monday morning. Winds are from the northwest around 10 miles per hour.
Sat: High: 68 Low: 47 Becoming mostly cloudy. Temperatures have a big range, as they tend to do on nights with light winds and clear skies during the cold season. Winds will pick up in the afternoon and get as gusty as 20 to 30 miles per hour. High of 79 degrees.
Lake effect rain showers with some higher elevation snow will develop east-northeast of the Great Lakes, mainly impacting Western New York and the North Country.
