GfK Poll: Email investigation has hurt Clinton’s image
Tim Kaine are expected to be on the program. And Hillary Clinton has not extenuated the theme of “change” in the ways that Trump has, and in many ways, is trying to sell herself as the steady, reliable way to move forward.
The Marist Poll – the one that showed Clinton ahead – has McGinty up 44.3 percent to 41.7 percent. “Do you want a trash talking president or a bridge building president?”
Interestingly, Bernie Sanders still polls more favorably than Clinton, though the survey was taken before he officially endorsed her presidential bid on Tuesday.
More than half of Americans think the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee broke the law by using a private email account and server at the State Department and almost 4 in 10 think she did so intentionally, according to the poll.
Clinton offered few hints into her thinking, offering praise for Kaine that seemed tepid compared to the stream of compliments she showered on Warren at an event in OH last month. Veal said it’s one of the earlier offices opened in Pennsylvania. “We are stronger together when we set goals for America”. The question prompted a roar of laughter from the audience of Democratic senators.
The meeting included Kaine, Warren and another potential Clinton running mate, Sherrod Brown of Ohio.
Trump added: “We’re going to have surrounding states and, very importantly, get North Atlantic Treaty Organisation involved because we support North Atlantic Treaty Organisation far more than we should, frankly, because you have a lot of countries that aren’t doing what they’re supposed to be doing. His message is that you should be afraid”, she told a gathering of Latino activists on Thursday.
“Rick beat Mitt Romney in 11 states in the rural areas and small towns, where people were disaffected”, said Brabender, a Pittsburgh native who ran Santorum’s campaign.
A deadlocked Supreme Court decision last month effectively killed Obama’s immigration plan to help some of the 11 million immigrants living in the US illegally.
The whole Clinton email affair and subsequent preferential treatment was viewed very negatively by the American people.
Clinton promised to create a clearer immigration system where immigrants with “sympathetic cases” or a history of community service can be eligible for special status. “But less well-known are the causes that have been at the center of her life”. Incumbent Republican Sen. Pat Toomey is in a tight reelection battle with challenger Katie McGinty, the democratic nominee, who most recently served as Gov. Tom Wolf’s chief of staff.
“I’m going to work my heart out but I need your help”, she said. “This is your election”.
Meanwhile, anyone flipping through the channels looking for positive ads about Donald Trump would be disappointed: He hasn’t yet put up a spot appealing to November voters and groups supporting him have been similarly silent. If the unwise effort would have succeeded, it would have disenfranchised the nearly 14 million voters, the most in GOP history, who voted for Trump in the primaries and caucuses throughout the country.
Clinton leads Trump in Colorado 43 per cent to 35 per cent, the poll showed.
Utah State University political science professor Damon Cann remembers sitting in his Orem home as a 7-year-old boy watching one party’s nominating convention for president in 1984.
Political advertising strategists are torn over whether the lack of positive Trump ads matters.
