Ghayal Once Again & Sanam Teri Kasam Clashes At Box-Office Collections

“Ghayal Once Again” has taken a bigger opening than Deol’s last film “Singh Saab The Great” (2013) but lower than 2011’s “Yamla Pagla Deewana”.

This week at the domestic box-office sees another clash as Sunny Deol’s Ghayal Once Again and Sanam Teri Kasam, starring newcomers Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane, release together today. The film’s box office collection releies heavily on word of mouth publicity.

‘Ghayal Once Again’ received a 15% opening on the first day.

Vijayta Films in association with Dharmendra presents GHAYAL ONCE AGAIN, a sequel to 1990 super-hit film GHAYAL which is set to release on February 5, 2016. The movie did a decent business at the single screens than in the multiplexes. According to figures given by the distributors, the film has opened to a good amount of Rs 7.20 cr net on Friday – day one.

The actor who believes in staying reserved did not promote his film to the fullest and therefore the masses could not recall the film instantly. It will be interesting how the film performs this weekend. The film has far more action than its predecessor.

Directed by Sunny Deol, the film also stars Soha Ali Khan, Shivam Patil, Aanchal Munjal, Daina Khan and Rishabh Arora and others in the lead.
