Giants’ Eli Apple and Victor Cruz day-to-day with injuries

The Giants have high hopes for Apple and Shepard this season.

Victor Cruz was on the sideline Friday night, and he has continued to get treatment for the groin issue that halted his comeback earlier this week.

Cruz returned to practice for the team on Sunday but was barely able to get through a few reps. Grant had the most yards from returns and receptions, unfortunately he did sustain and injury that kept him out late in the game the good news is that its minor. WR Geremy Davis (groin) and FB Will Johnson (neck) are not practicing on Sunday, McAdoo said.
