Gigi Hadid confirms Taylor Swift is working on new music
The 21-year-old model presented her collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger, TOMMYXGIGI, at Hilfiger’s carnival-themed fashion show at NYFW on Friday. Swift was surrounded by heavy security too, which is unsurprising given the amount of attention she’s been getting in the past several months. That show was INSANE.
The Grammy Award-winning singer also wrote, “Congrats to Gi, Tommy and all the girls who just owned that runway #tommyxgigi”.
We knew it would only be a matter of time before Taylor Swift used her recent breakup with actor Tom Hiddleston as inspiration for new music.
A tanned Taylor, who is believed to have split from Tom because he was keen to make their relationship public, kept things casual in a flattering floaty blue print dress which was nipped in at the waist with a white tie.

This particular picture features the two women staring at Swift’s phone during Gigi Hadid’s Tommy Hilfiger fashion show. She also took a slight at ex Calvin Harris by singing his song “This is What You Came For” while it played at the show. Taylor Swift was indeed in the credits for the song but as the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg before it was changed back to her name. You be the judge. “It’s sort of a revolution in the fashion industry to create an event that is really not a traditional runway show and it is all about ‘buy now, wear now, ‘ designed by a model for a designer”.
At the end of the day, Taylor was obviously there for her BFF, not just to throw shade at one of her exes.
It has been an unusually long time since the Blank Space singer blessed her fans with new music.
Taylor Swift apparently felt like being a third wheel last night.
Do you think Taylor’s Instagram was a calculated snub? More than 80,000 Tommy x Gigi product views took place on tommy.com, and sales on the site on September 9 were about 220 percent ahead of a year ago.
Among the donations is a $5,000 gift from Swift, who writes on the campaign’s GoFundMe page: “Kimi, No words could express how sorry I am for your loss”. I’m not good at being a celebrity, but when it ended, all hell broke loose.
