Gigi Hadid The World’s Most Connected Supermodel
Model Gigi Hadid attends the Greater Los Angeles Chapter Of The American Diabetes Association’s Father of the Year Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on June 18, 2015 in Beverly Hills, California.
Gigi Hadid is fashion’s It Girl right now, or as W magazine calls their September cover girl, the “Post It Girl”. (You also can obtain a copy as a new subscriber, starting today, if you’re really fiending for that gilded treatment.) “We aim to surprise and transform: [W’s fashion and style director] Edward Enninful worked with Gigi to channel a new look that’s grown-up and glamorous, collaborating with supermodel image-maker and legendary photographer Steven Meisel“.
Lynn Hirschberg, W editor at large, said in a statement, “Hadid is a rarity: a model who appeals to the fashion elite, but attracts equal attention in the world of mainstream brands”. The impressive list includes the obvious Kardashian and Jenner clan as well as Bill and Hillary Clinton, George W. Bush, Cher, and Whitney Houston.

Like Victoria Beckham, Gigi proved that virtually anything goes when it comes to in-flight fashion as she threw on a pair of stretchy grey fitness leggings that boasted a space-dye print and jazzed them up with a some pointed stiletto heels!
Inside the glossy, Hadid talks about going nude, social media and the success of her career thus far, which she credits, in part, to a balance of high-end and mass market work. In the interview she did, the blonde bombshell said that she has always viewed modeling as a business.
“I have always been aware of the business side of this industry”, Hadid told the magazine.
Gigi Hadid has posed in everything from Maybelline ads to haute couture and Paris runways, but she has one rule when it comes to stripping down for a photo shoot: she won’t “do naked for naked’s sake”. But I never want to choose one or the other.
