Gigi Hadid Topshop Campaign Fall 2015
It’s the latest coup for Gigi, who also appeared in Taylor’s Bad Blood video, and has been announced as the new face of Topshop.
“Working with Gigi Hadid on this campaign continues to strengthen our worldwide vision for the Topshop brand”, says Sir Philip Green, chairman of retail giant Arcadia Group. Topshop has stores in the works in the Middle East, Germany, Canada, Panama, and New Zealand, in addition to new third-party retailers in Southeast Asia, the Netherlands, and across Europe for 2016.
Gigi Hadid is on her way to becoming a multi-hyphenate. She has worked with American super-brands including Maybelline, Guess and Seafolly.
Gigi is the daughter of model and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster and multimillionaire Real Estate developer Mohammed Hadid.
Hadid’s appointment comes after two seasons of ads fronted by Cara Delevingne. She’s BFFs with all the cool kids, goes out with Joe Jonas and is too cute on Insty.
Explaining their choice, Topshop said: “A rising star, in all four corners of the world, Gigi’s effortless, Californian style, together with her strong social media presence, makes her the ideal ambassador for the Topshop brand”.
In images for the autumn/winter campaign, Gigi has been styled by Kate Phelan and shot by Tyrone Lebon and is shown wearing a variety of outfits including leather jackets, a faux fur coat and a plaid hoodie.
