Gilmore Girls To Return On Netflix
The multi-generational drama about family and friendship centers around Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham) and her daughter, Rory (Alexis Bledel).
On her Twitter account, Lauren Graham revealed that the show, which ran from 2000 to 2007, will be returning through streaming service Netflix.
The CW series wrapped in 2007 after seven seasons and 154 episodes, all of them are available on Netflix, but rumors began to circulate a year ago about a potential revival on Netflix. According to DEADLINE, the series will be four, 90-minute movies, with each episode being treated like a new season.
But since they are back on the rebooted series, Amy Sherman-Palladino plans on finally giving fans the ending that they deserve.
Talking to TV Line, Graham said Netflix was the medium for the fans to enjoy the show once again.
Gilmore Girls centred around the lives and loves of a headstrong single mother and her smart-mouthed teenage child.
Tech Times previously reported back in October 2015 that Netflix was considering a “Gilmore Girls” revival, but nothing was set in stone at that point.
The 48-year old actress also gave a message to her fans, as she received Logo TV’s New Now Next TV Honoree award.
This project will be produced by Dorothy Parker of Drank Here Productions in association with Warner Bros. If Stars Hollow needs some new troubadours, you know who to call!” and “Yes!
