Giraffe Mom Almost Forgot Mask On Way To Deliver Baby Boy
Erin Dietrich, the expecting SC mom who became an internet sensation after spoofing a pregnant giraffe’s baby watch video while wearing a giraffe mask, gave birth on Wednesday, beating her four-legged competition.
She said: “He’s here!”
Dietrich said in a Facebook post “He’s here!”
Dietrich’s original video has garnered more than 30 million views on Facebook and gained attention from national media outlets. The three-and-a-half minute long video showed her sitting in bed, wearing the same giraffe head from earlier.
April the giraffe meanwhile, is still pregnant and roaming her pen.
Erin Dietrich is due any day now and took on her own version of the giraffe baby watch. “We’re waiting just as patiently as you are”.
The expectant mom gained viral internet fame on March 5 after donning a giraffe mask and spoofing a zoo’s livestream of their pregnant giraffe, April.
The photographer wrote that she started studying photography when she was pregnant with another child a few years ago. He’s flawless, healthy and just handsome! 8lb 2oz and 21 1/2 inches.
