Girl, 10, tells parents how she really feels about Santa news, #middlefingeremoji
Which is exactly what Nicki did, by posting pictures of her daughter’s notes to Facebook with this message: “Belle asked point blank about Santa and she’s been asking every day”. Belle delivered four carefully crafted notes and slid them under their bedroom door.
And the “emoji” she signs off with suggests she wasn’t so innocent in the first place. Is the easter bunny real, how about the tooth fairy huh? “How ’bout the tooth fairy, huh?”
Their daughter, Belle, responded to the shocking truth about Santa by writing a letter to her parents.
But the truth hurts – and Belle has been left questioning everything. I really tried to believe.
One 10-year-old conveyed her disgust about discovering the Santa “lie” in the most hilarious way possible – by illustrating her feelings in a handwritten note.
Since being posted last week, Belle’s letter has been shared over 21,000 times!
Nicki, of Pasadena, Maryland, said: “We were truthful and she may never speak to us again…”
Christmas often brings out the best and worst in children.
The kicker, though, was A hand-drawn fist which she hashtagged #MiddleFingerEmoji.
The news was nearly too much for Belle, who then wrote, “You lied to me about something I loved that broke my heart”.
By the third note, Belle was done with words, slipping a drawing of a hand with a raised middle finger to her parents.
When the first part of the letter slipped under the door, Nikki said in the comments on Facebook she and her husband Michael were anxious about what they had done.
Her second post under the door expresses how she will never recover from the news about Santa.
