Morata has missed Chelsea’s last four games in all competitions with his back issue and Conte has admitted he’s growing increasingly concerned by how long the injury is taking to heal.
The Blues are now standing fourth in the Premier League table and are running the risk of missing out on Champions League action next season, should their poor form under Antonio Conte continue.
Morata’s absence coincides with a bad run of form for the Premier League champions that has piled the pressure on Conte and increased speculation that he could be removed from his post.
