Giuliani: Beyonce’s Super Bowl Performance an ‘Attack’ on Cops
Beyonce lit up the Levi’s Stadium on Sunday, February 7, during the Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show.
“Formation” oozes with Black pride and self-love, the song premiering only a day prior but the reception has been nearly overwhelmingly favorable, especially with such a powerful video.
It’s once the beat picks up and the tempo begins to rise when the singer digs into her family roots, describing her mother’s heritage as Louisiana Creole and her father as an African-American man from Alabama.
Ms Opal Tometi, a co-founder of the Black Lives Matter movement, voiced appreciation for Beyonce on Twitter and noted that the Super Bowl fell on the birthday of Ms Sandra Bland, an AfricanAmerican woman who was found hanging previous year in a Texas jail in disputed circumstances after she was pulled over for a traffic violation. But instead of landing on her famous booty, she jumped back a step, and popped up like it had been her intention the entire time.

But this one is getting more political heat than Beyonce is used to. “What? It’s not all bad”. Should she have not done the performance?
Rudy concluded his display of utter ignorance by calling for more “wholesome” entertainment during future Super Bowl halftime performances.
“Are you saying you can’t talk about “race issues” to Middle America?” Williams said. “What are they, so delicate and unaware, and maybe so white, that Beyoncé is too much for them?” But you can reminisce on some of her biggest hits by finding out which one is the soundtrack to your life right here!
