There’s a special celebration in Tucson on Monday to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Renowned storyteller Omope Carter Daboiku will inspire visitors with stories, songs and folk tradition. The night will also feature the Indiana University African American Choral Ensemble and a reception with light refreshments at 6 p.m.

The celebration continues Wednesday, Jan. 20, at Allen Fieldhouse during the KU women’s basketball game, with various pre- and in-game mentions of the Martin Luther King Jr.
