‘Glee’ star Lea Michele, Matthew Paetz split after two years together

Despite the tough nature of breakups, a close friend to Lea has revealed to People magazine that although she may now be single, she is by no means alone. They added, “She’s doing fine, focusing on her work, her music and her album”.

Lea is surrounded by her friends, who have rallied around her and support her. The split was said to have been very “difficult” for the Glee star.

While the relationship did not last, it appears the 29-year-old actress has found solace in working out. It seems the starlet isn’t using the sweatpants and ice cream method to get over Paetz.

Michele and Paetz first met on the set of her “On My Way” music video back in April 2014 and most recently looked happier than even in photos posted on Instagram.

Paetz was Michele’s first boyfriend after the shocking death of her boyfriend, “Glee” co-star Corey Monteith who died of a heroin overdose in 2013.

“He is very respectful towards the person that I was with, and that, again, is something I love so much about him”, Michele continued, adding, “I really know that Cory would love him too”. Lea wanted to believe in love and wanted to believe the good in him.

To make matters worse, the singer feels betrayed considering she stuck up for Paetz when friends were skeptical of his male escort past.
