Glenn Beck endorses Ted Cruz’s White House bid
Even when Trump and his claims have been debunked, those who stand by his side have looked the other way and pushed factual information to the side.
The potential for more drama emerged on Saturday with the news that former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg might launch an independent run for President.

Trump on Saturday also raised the subject of Cruz’s previously undisclosed loans he received from Goldman Sachs and Citibank to finance his political campaign that propelled him to the Senate.
“I want Mr Trump to know I appreciate his support for me and most importantly for Iowa being first in the nation and all our important Iowa caucus”. “I can say I have no intention of shooting anybody in this campaign”, Cruz said.
Senator Chuck Grassley created a bit of buzz when he went on stage to speak at Trump’s rally in Pella.
In recent days Trump has taunted Beck, calling the conservative commentator a “wacko” and a “failing, crying lost soul”.
Beck said Cruz is the candidate who will “repoint the cornerstones” in Washington.
Mr. Cruz was campaign Saturday with Mr. Beck in Iowa.
Trump this week launched his first attack ad against Cruz, suggesting the Texan has been inconsistent on immigration, a contrast with Trump’s hardline position on the issue. “Uh, let’s see…No I would never do that”, he said, as the crowd erupted in laughter.
Trump continued to lead the pack of Republican presidential candidates this week with 37.4 percent support nationally, according to the HuffPost Pollster average of opinion polls.
In a meeting with reporters in Ankeny, Beck accused Trump of arrogance.
The endorsement comes in the wake of Sarah Palin, another conservative heavyweight, endorsing Donald Trump earlier this week.
Elsewhere in Iowa, Rubio stressed that he represents the next generation of conservative leadership as he started the dash to the caucuses at Iowa State University in Ames.
