Glenn Close divorces husband of 9 years David Shaw
The 68-year-old actress and venture capitalist David, her third husband, ended their marriage quietly over the summer, with Glenn moving back to New York City while David remained at their home in Maine.

The couple divorced over the summer, Close’s rep confirmed to The Times on Thursday, adding that the divorce “was mutual and amicable”. She stated that men are benefited by the nurturing of women, but women don’t get much of the same from men.
The Oscar-nominated actress, who won a Tony Award for her performance as Norma Desmond on Broadway 20 years ago, will reprise the role at the Coliseum next year. ‘I think of men and women as two different species.
