Gogglebox’s Chris Steed is engaged – but not to Stephen Webb

Chris Steed announced his engagement soon after the news that Eve Woerdenweber is getting spliced – and not to Silent Jay.

It’s been a joyous week for the ‘Gogglebox’ gang, as a second star from the show has now announced their engagement.

After that, Eve met boyfriend (now fiancé!) Josh Smith, and the couple even have matching tattoos – nothing says commitment like permanent ink! Handsome ring.” While another said: “Aw how lovely.

In an interview with WhatsonTV, Chris and Steve admitted Gogglebox played a huge part in their break up – despite continuing to star in the show.

She tweeted: “Filming #gogglebox and trying not to stare at my handsome ring from my attractive fiancé & soul mate”.

It was also a bit of a shock to fans who saw Eve first appear on the show with her ex-boyfriend – who was affectionately nicknamed Silent Jay.

Sharing a snap as she and Josh look up at the camera with their tongues stuck out, she wrote: “So according to a few I look miserable these days…”

Speaking about their breakup, he previously said: “I’m gutted that Eve broke up with me”. It came completely out of the blue. I wish we could work it out.

Explaining the situation in the past, Chris said: “We were friends years ago, and then we evolved into sort of more like a relationship, so we were actually seeing each other when I got the opportunity of going on “Gogglebox“.
