Going Viral: 3-Year-Old Gets Parking Ticket for Motorcycle
When it comes to illegal parking by the ferry terminal in one Canada city, no one is above the law – not even 3-year-olds.
Declan Tramley, who loves riding his red plastic motorcycle, put his hand to his forehead in exasperation when he was caught by Constable Shawn Currie leaving his bike in a “no-parking zone” on Sunday, Halifax Regional Police Sgt.
An adorable photo of a young child receiving a ticket from a Halifax police officer has garnered a lot of attention lately. “This ruthless biker was caught yesterday!”
But when Declan Tramley parked his motorcycle beside the real ones, an officer made a decision to have some fun of his own.
“Remember, no motorcycle parking in the circle by the ferry terminal”, the Halixfax Department wrote on Twitter.
Thousands of people have liked and shared the photo on Facebook, but Declan is more impressed by his souvenir. People can’t get enough of the little outlaw.
While the little boy’s dad snapped pictures, Currie bent down and issued the kid a fake parking ticket.
“It’s nice to show the different sides of police”, he said.
“He tried to go bed with his ticket”, she said. “We’re just normal like everybody else and we do like to have fun”. As for Declan? He’s not getting rid of that ticket anytime soon.
Declan’s mom says her son loves his parking ticket.
