Golden State now 18-0

The offensive deluge came three days after Golden State set the league record at 16-0 by beating the Los Angeles Lakers. But in reality, each shot is a thing of beauty on its own.

The Thunder (11-6) had 22 second-chance points and Drummond’s counterpart, Steven Adams, grabbed 13 rebounds.

Reigning league MVP Curry drained a season-high nine three-pointers and added eight assists and six rebounds at Talking Stick Resort Arena. He made 9-of-16 three-point attempts and has now made a three in 90 straight regular-season games. In order to beat that record by 46.9 percent, a player would have to dish out a total of 1,710 in one season, which would mean that player would have to average 20.9 assists per game over an 82-game schedule.

Golden State is 6-0 away from home but dropped its most recent visit to Denver on March 13.

Curry didn’t play in the fourth quarter for the fourth straight game in Saturday’s 120-101 win over Sacramento. Love has now scored in double-digits in all but one game this season and has topped 20 points nine times.

In the first quarter, starting center Tyson Chandler left with a hamstring strain.

Harrison Barnes went down with a left ankle injury and Klay Thompson had four fouls.

“I’m sure Steph doesn’t like it”, interim coach Luke Walton said.

Green and Curry were the only Warriors starters to exceed 27 minutes in a game they led from tipoff to final buzzer in pushing their overall win streak to 21.

After such a scorching start, the Warriors, unsurprisingly, made easy work of the Suns in the game’s second half.
