Golden State’s unbeaten streak ended by the lowly Milwaukee Bucks
The Warriors may have lost the Bucks Saturday after beginning the season with a record 24 straight wins, but fear not Warriors fans, as Golden State gets a quick shot at revenge when they host the Milwaukee next Friday.
The first half was a slog for the Warriors in every way, and Milwaukee’s energized demeanor compounded Golden State’s issues.

If it makes you feel better, Steph, you weren’t alone.
In the process, the Warriors scored a season low after coming from back-to-back road games that included a double-overtime win over the Celtics the night before.
Stephen Curry had 28 points on 10-of-21 shooting from the field, including 2 of 8 from 3-point territory.
The Warriors, however, might welcome a less-frenetic tempo in their final contest before hopping a plane and heading home to begin a five-game homestand Wednesday.
They’re not used to losing.
Friday’s thriller may have sapped the Warriors’ energy but Boston showed no ill effects as they beat the Charlotte Hornets 98-93 to close to within one win of Atlantic Division leaders the Toronto Raptors.
Golden State’s 28-game winning streak, counting the final four games of last season, came to a halt.
“Once you win a championship, you gain so much confidence, and you believe nobody can beat you”, Hollins said. The Pistons still have some holes – namely a weak bench – but they could win a playoff series or two behind their strong starting lineup, stingy defense and great home record. I think the Warriors are at that point. Who is going to stop them?
Another poor shooting effort – Golden State hit 29 percent from long distance against the Celtics – seems unlikely, even with some exhausted legs.
As such, the Warriors didn’t so some things well that they usually do well. This team doesn’t engender the level of hatred that the Miami Heat did back when LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh teamed up in the 2010-11 season, but it certainly receives the same intense level of passion and attention.
“He’s our modern-day [Michael] Jordan”, Kidd said on Curry.
Yes, it was a road game.
“It’s been a long road trip, [we’re] just trying to refocus as we get back at Oracle [Arena] and maybe start a new streak”.
If the Bucks hope to have a chance, they’ll likely attempt to slow the Warriors down.
After a hard fought and earned 24 and 0 start to the season, the Milwaukee Bucks handed the Warriors their first loss of the season. The Warriors are gaining positive attention, yet face unfair expectations to end this season with the best record in National Basketball Association history.
