Golfer’s hole-in-one celebration becomes grisly ankle turn
Jack Nicklaus has enjoyed many golden moments on the golf course, but the one at the par-three contest at the Masters on Wednesday was especially special.
“I’m running out of Par-3s, ” he said.
In the contest, you’re nearly sure to see a hole-in-one and usually more than one – there have been 93 total. make that 94 since Dylan Frittelli made one as we were posting this – and a record nine in 2016. Afterward, Nicklaus took to Twitter himself to share his thoughts.

“But since I’m not playing the tournament I said ‘Let’s go for it this year'”.
“G.T.is a big kid and has the potential to be a very talented player”, Jack said.
“So you could tell what that tee shot meant today”.
The Northern Irish man will be hoping that when he drives back up Magnolia Lane on Sunday night or Monday morning, that he will be wearing the coveted green jacket.
Despite winning 18 majors, 78-year-old Nicklaus said Gary’s incredible shot is the number one moment in his career.
