Google Chrome Is Apparently Bypassing Adblock

It has created a Chrome extension called ‘Rehumanize’ that will replace every written instance of words used to dehumanise refugees with the word “human”. Some Web sites benefit from this feature more than others – Google’s Gmail Web app uses 25 percent less memory in Chrome 45.

Google appears to be punishing users who install advert-blocking software by forcing them to sit through lengthy commercials with no option to skip them.
