Google Doodle marks India’s 69th Independence Day by remembering Dandi March
As India pays tribute to the freedom fighters on the 69th anniversary of Independence Day, Google joins in the celebration with a doodle of Mahatma Gandhi leading the Dandi March of 1930.
This march sparked a lot of protests across India against British salt laws, and was one of the first campaign to have large number of Indians participating.
On Independence day so many people inspires us to follow the teaching of peace and non-violence that was addressed by Mahatma Gandhi, Who is the father of our nation.

As part of Independence movement, Gandhi led this milestone movement, which was started from Sabarmati Asharam near Ahmadabad to the coastal village of Dandi in Gujarat as apart of non-violent protest against the British raj.
Internet giant Google on Friday said that it was giving a virtual voyage through the Indian freedom struggle via the Google Cultural Institute division on the occasion of Independence Day. The virtual tour additionally covers locations like Cellular Jail in Port Blair and Jallianwala Bagh, Amritsar.
