Google Hangouts 5.0 Update Released With Bug-Fixes

Not so long ago, rumors surfaced suggesting Google could be possibly working on the newest Android version of Hangouts. Outside of a new shade of green in one instance, though there weren’t any major, notable changes to the design.
Additionally, the new update now has full support of previous GIFs animations that were broken have been fixed. Confirmed fixes include GIF support and a few very minor visual changes, such as the brief intro screen that Google has incorporated into all of their apps.
It looks like that is actually Google has advanced the applications’ capability along with you.
Meanwhile, a report has identified specific improvements-a few of which seem to be behind-the-scene fixes.
An update to the Hangouts app for Android is starting to roll out today, and it brings the app up to version 5.0. Interestingly, an APK cownload is also available for those who can’ wait. For users that have not received the update yet, they can search it on the Google Play Store or even download the APK file from APK Mirror. They should then head to Security Settings and ensure that the Unknown Sources option is checked. Just let it install on your device, and you should be all good to go.
