Today, Disney’s newest live-action remake is set to take to the silver screen, and the anticipation is high, especially among fans of the original. He’s married to Madame Garderobe, aka the Wardrobe.

The third instalment, Belle’s Tale of Friendship, was released a year later in 1999 to promote Disney’s TV series titled Sing Me a Story with Belle.

The Beast’s faithful companions thankfully push the movie along, because without them there’d be little to watch. In fact, the visual effects in general were arguably the most impressive feat of the film. Once the Beast turns her away, she responds by cursing him and his staff. The rose that she leaves behind is a symbol of the curse – the Beast must find true love before all the petals fall. Remember that this is not exactly the same as the original (if that’s what you are expecting) and the more you compare the two, the less you will enjoy this version.
