Google is giving away a free Chromecast to Android Pay users
Will this get you to use Android Pay more or are you still tired of mobile payments?
If you’re in the market for a streaming device, Google is willing to hand over a Chromecast for free.
Anyone who uses Android Pay at least 10 times between now and February 29 will get a $35 credit you can use toward a new Chromecast.
Google has been working hard to push Android Pay since its launch in September, and today another promo has been discovered.
If you don’t make it to 10 purchases in time, you can still expect a number of lesser rewards.
“According to a reader who sent us the info, the Android Pay Rewards is showing up as a card in your list of cards that when tapped, brings up the UI you can see in the screenshots below with details on the promotion”, reads Droid Life’s report. A quick Google search, however, reveals this image that clearly showed up today for one user when opening the Android Pay app.
If you are already a user of Android Pay, keep checking the app for the promo invite mentioned above.
Google is known to be generous with their constant promotions and offers.
What do you guys think of Google’s Tap 10 promo? However, the Android Pay Rewards loyalty program is an ongoing thing, so even if that is the case, there may be more promotions in the future.
According to the official rules, the promotion is only available to residents of the United States, and you have to be at least 18 years old. Chromecast owners are constantly provided with free movie rentals; Google Music has free songs and albums; and just last month, buying something as small as a stick of gum with Android Pay would net you a Best Buy gift card.
