Google Launches Star Wars Cardboard Virtual Reality Experience
Google announced yesterday when it posted its new Star Wars: The Force Awakens #ChooseYourSide campaign that it was planning a few Star Wars Easter eggs in advance of the film’s release.
Empire is continuing their extensive run of Star Wars: The Force Awakens exclusives with an all-new Captain Phasma image to add to the growing collection. Android users will see a full transformation of Google Now where “cards automatically appear in your feed with “this day in Star Wars history” fun facts”. Other notable changes are Gmail loading as a lightsaber and the location marker on Maps that becomes an X-wing. From this information, we’ll see whether the world will turn light or dark.
