Google Nexus 6 No Longer A Failure In Photography
Those who’ve interacted with an iPhone or iPad in recent times will probably be familiar with numerous new arrivals, since Apple’s mobile software beat Android to the draw a couple of months back with the introduction of iOS 9.1.
The update also brings a few small change to Android tablets. Allowing users to express themselves with the keyboard in ways never available before.
As expected, emoji is the big star of this update and Ars Technica has a full gallery of them with accompany descriptions.
Update: Here’s the link to the official images.
The alleged Nexus 7 (2016) tablet is rumoured to run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. The last Nexus tablet (Nexus 9 ) was made by HTC. The “back” and “home” buttons are situated on the left-hand side, with “overview” stuck on the right, in a move that seemingly makes it easier to access these buttons with thumbs.
If you use Android 6.0.1 on a tablet, you may notice that the navigation buttons are no longer centered at the bottom of the screen.
Seeing as LG and Google have seen massively positive responses to all their collaborative efforts on the Nexus family of devices, most fans will probably rejoice at the news that LG might become a permanent partner for the line-up.
We don’t know which devices will get it first, but most likely will be the new Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P. Meaning most users should have it before the end of the week, or early next week at the latest. The duo are said to be secretly working on a new Nexus tablet, due to launch in 2016.
The OTA should be starting soon and the same devices that got Marshmallow (Nexus 5, 5X, 6, 6P, 7 2013, Player) will be receiving the update. It’s… interesting. And possibly more ergonomically optimal.
