Google Nexus phone launch set for September 29th
Previous reports have claimed that the LG Nexus 5 smartphone will be named as the LG Nexus 5X by Google.
Given that recent Android flagships such as the Samsung Galaxy S6, the HTC One M9, and the LG G4 have cut back on such high-end storage options, the presence of a 128GB option will make the new Nexus 6 instantly appealing to some.
A new Google Chromecast has been talked about, along with the LG-made Nexus 5, and another phone has been doing the rounds over the last month or two, which is the subject of a new report. That likely means new Nexus devices should also be expected to highlight some of the new features Android 6.0 supports, including USB Type-C charging and data transfers, and fingerprint identification and payments. According to Android Police, the Huawei Nexus will be the first Nexus device to have storage option of 128GB inbuilt. Under the hood it will have a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor and will be available in 32GB for US$349 (about AU) and 64GB for US$399 (about AU).
The Nexus 6 is rumored to come out of the box run by Android 6.0 and LG’s G series is also expected to acquire the same update. Unfortunately, for the time being, we don’t really know how much any of these variants will end up costing. If that seems a bit pricey, the smartphone will also be available in 32GB or 64GB.

Less likely will be the addition of a microSD card expanding storage up to a massive 256GB, but hey, crazier things have happened.
With Google announcing a launch event for 29 September, there be no let up in the rumours and speculation over the multiple devices it is expected to announced.
After it was found out that the upcoming Nexus duo of smartphones are going to be called Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P, we have some more information regarding the hardware specification of Nexus 6P.
