Google’s time-traveling auto plans surface on Back to the Future Day
Do you wish to travel back and forth in time?
Google claims they have already performed extensive testing with Project Flux and have logged over 3,306 years to date.
The tweet read, “Guess you guys aren’t ready for this yet… but your kids are gonna love it”. Check out Google’s full plans for Project Flux at the link below.
The tweet read, “Special delivery: 15 new Gmail themes to make your inbox more awesome? http://goo.gl/1cGrWd”. “Flux…is created to be a 10x solution”.
The project is named after the Flux capacitor, which is the device the DeLorean DMC-12 uses to travel in time in the “Back to the Future” Trilogy. However, as one of the most important technology companies in the world, Google has also been investing heavy on these technologies, which is probably obvious, considering innovation is in their DNA.
Apparently, the search giant is looking far ahead of other companies though, as a few top secret plans have just leaked online.
Google has implemented a few unique backup power sources to protect against “time-stranding” and they have designed a push-button ignition to prevent faulty starting issues a few of the earlier prototypes experienced. In the “leaked” documents, Google explains how their technology called “a proprietary chronocompression technology to instantly transport the user to a place and time of their choosing”.
Google’s mockup vehicle actually looks like a combination of the DeLorean and the company’s self-driving cars, which allegedly will start test flights by mid-2016.
