Goosebumps Trailer – Jack Black deals with family-friendly creepiness as RL
All of your favourite monsters from horror author RL Stine’s books are on a rampage in the new trailer for Goosebumps.
After much anticipation, Sony has released the first trailer for the forthcoming Goosebumps movie and we could not be more excited.
If this sounds familiar, it’s probably because, as a child of the ’90s, you recall that this was the basic premise of Jumanji, the 1996 children’s action movie starring Robin Williams. Star Jack Black stopped by Good Morning America to debut the first look at the film, which introduces the premise and shows a lighter tone than expected.
We’re going to wait to see if they release a choose your own ending version of this movie just like they did with the books. Based on the Goosebumps Book series Published by Scholastic and written by R.L. Stine.
Goosebumps bows on October 16 in the USA and on February 5, 2016 in the United Kingdom.
The clip centers on teen Zach Cooper (Dylan Minnette), who recently moved in next door to the spooky author and ends up befriending his niece. When they attempt to come the rescue, Zach and his pal wind up accidentally unleashing the monsters of Stine’s books. The group must work together to put the monsters back in the books where they belong.
Will it be anything like the TV series?
