Gordon pens new Celtic deal
Gordon went on to enjoy an outstanding campaign where he helped the club to win a league and league cup double, and was rewarded with the writers’ Player of the Year gong at the end of season awards.
The 32-year-old joined the club last summer and quickly established himself as Celtic’s number one following Fraser Forster’s departure to Southampton.
The former Sunderland goalkeeper is delighted to have committed his future to the Bhoys and explained to the club’s official site: “I am absolutely delighted to extend my contract with Celtic, such a fantastic football club. I have enjoyed my first year immensely at Celtic“, Gordon told Celtic’s website.
