Gotham Season 2 trailer teases Joker, Batcave and new characters

The new Gotham season 2 teaser trailer runs 30-seconds and is set to a cover of Duran Duran’s “Hungry Like the Wolf”. As such, there is ironic timing in Chiklis joining another superhero franchise, only it is on TV this time for Season 2 of Gotham – yet it seems his role is not of a future superhero or villain for the moment, reported by TV Line on July 21. However, the focus isn’t exclusively on the “who” of the year, but it’s also on the “where”, offering a glimpse at that cave Bruce found in the season 1 finale.

Cinema Blend noted that the dynamic between Gordon and Barnes would be very interesting as it would be inevitable that Gordon would look up Barnes as an inspiration and it would be interesting to see what happens when the inevitable happens when Gordon gets let down by Barnes. As the person who revieweed all of those episodes, I did see a glimmer of quality that exists but was often squandered to make connections back to the various villains from the pages of DC Comics.
