Gotze open to Juve move

The Croatian joined the Turin giants last month, but after a lengthy wait for an official presentation, Mandzukic took centre stage as he joked about the fear of playing the Serie A champions.

New Juventus striker Simone Zaza insists he will do everything he can to justify he is good enough to play for the club.

“The side boasts many excellent players and they are the best team in Italy”.

Last season, he was handed six different positions across midfield and attack, which suggests that perhaps Guardiola is unsure on where his No. 19 fits into his current XI – or may not have confidence in his ability.

Bayern Munich’s Mario Gotze has admitted that he could be tempted by a move away from the Allianz Arena at a later point of time, amidst strong rumors of a move to Juventus.

He has previously won the Champions League with Bayern Munich in 2013 and was part of Croatia’s squad for the 2012 European Championship as well as the 2014 World Cup.

Gotze in an interview with Goal, said- “I think that Juventus reached the Champions League final not by chance but because they had a great season past year”.

“Before coming here, I spoke with Buffon and I told him that he was my idol since I was a kid”, the 29-year-old told reporters on Thursday.

“As for [Andrea] Pirlo and [Carlos] Tevez [who have left], they’re great players, who any team would miss”.

‘I think that playing overseas might be a good experience for me: new languages, new cultures.
