Gov. Christie unveils new ideas, then leaves New Jersey
“The issues come at you from every direction at all hours of the day and the night”.
“Unfortunately Governor Christie has endorsed numerous ideas that Barack Obama supports, whether its Common Core or gun control or the appointment of Sonia Sotomayor or the donation he made to Planned Parenthood”, said Sen. The president visited New Jersey after it had been ravaged by Hurricane Sandy and, in a gesture of gratitude, Christie did a bit of touchy-feely with Mr Obama. Common Core, the news site reported, does “still have a place in New Jersey classrooms”.
“Sending that signal makes it impossible for us to be serious about taking out ISIS and Syria”, Bush said to Trump.
In the debate, Christie then took the high road, kind of. “When you’re a senator, what you get to do is talk and talk, and you talk so much that no one can keep up with what you’re saying and figure out whether you’re accurate or not”.
The state Department of Education has proposed renaming the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards, as well as the Common Core State Standards in mathematics and English language arts, to the “New Jersey Student Learning Standards”.
In a Fox interview with Sean Hannity earlier this month, Christie, who served as US attorney in New Jersey from January 2002 to December 2008 before launching his first campaign for governor, explained that his views on gun control have evolved since being in office. Now we ask people how we’re going break out to be the changer between Trump and Cruz. He’s a good guy.
“Next, we have to talk to our adversaries, and we have to make sure they understand the limits of our patience, and this president, given what Ted said right at the beginning, he’s absolutely right”. “You can’t just ban all Muslims”.
“Mr. President, we’re not against you”.
“I’d like to interrupt this debate on the floor of the Senate, which was in response to a question on entitlement”, Mr. Christie said, his voice arcing in sarcasm.
“One of the things the President is going to do is nominate Supreme Court Justices, maybe as many as four”, Rubio told his crowd.
“We know that recent global events have many people anxious – Iran detaining American sailors, forcing them to apologize; North Korea and its nuclear ambitions; an aggressive China; and a Middle East that continues to deteriorate, not to mention ISIS is getting stronger”.
“My concern now as we travel toward implementation is not only the heavy foot of the federal government coming in, but it is not doing all that we need to have done in New Jersey”, he added.
Rubio also came under fire for his past support for immigration reform by Cruz, who has said that stand with some Democrats put Rubio in a position of favoring leniency for undocumented immigrants over national security. On Tuesday, Christie said he was misquoted in the 1994 story.
That raises questions about how he’ll pursue his New Jersey agenda while spending a lot of time outside the state seeking the White House.
