Grab the latest Batman: Arkham Knight PC patch before the DLC
The action adventure video game, “Batman:Arkham Knight”, has had its share of problems, most specifically with its PC version which was plagued with a lot of issues that had stained the game even if it was a good game at its core.
The newest expansion sees maps in Wayne Manor and the Batcave, as seen in the screenshots obtained by GameSpot.
Delivered by Vine Report, the downloadable content update will feature maps featured in Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, but more importantly, a game mode entitled Predator Mode will come into play. This new patch allows for a few updates and tweaks for the game’s PC version. Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #6, as it is called, includes three Predator challenges and 3 Combat challenges. This is part of the January update for “Batman: Arkham Knight”.
Formerly known as the Community Challenge Pack and fittingly so, the maps were taken from fan favorites. The Batman Incorporated skin has also been made available today, as announced last week. The free Batman Arkham Knight DLC will no longer be listed as US$0.99, and the benchmark map will now be fixed, so PC users can enjoy the “Season of Infamy” expansion without problems.
The latest patch addresses issues such as support for the January DLC content, and is supposed to fix a number of keyboard and mouse prompts that had them functioning incorrectly after certain keys had been rebound, and has some miscellaneous DLC gameplay fixes and stability improvements.
Rocksteady and Warner Bros. have been diligent in rolling out post-launch content for “Batman: Arkham Knight”. It will arrive on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One on Tuesday, Jan. 26.
