Graphic video shows people escaping Paris concert hall
Warning: The following video from the Paris attack and shooting at the Paris Bataclan concert hall is graphic and could be disturbing to a few viewers.
Psenny said he realized something was happening after he heard what sounded like firecrackers going off outside his window.
At least one person is shown writhing on the ground as scores more stream past, a few of them bloodied or limping.
A woman and two others can be seen clinging to upper-floor balcony railings in a desperate attempt to stay out of the line of fire.
A woman said she saw survivors emerging the hall.
Psenny’s full account is on Le Monde.
“There was a man lying on the sidewalk with another man I have not seen”.
“But the noise was so strong, so I went to the window”.
“At that moment, I was hit by a bullet”.
“I remember having felt as if a cracker had exploded in my left arm and I saw it pissing with blood”.
Reports confirm more than 80 people were massacred in the hall when callous attackers seized hostages during a deadly night of terror across the capital. “That’s when I think I was shot but I had a blank at that time”, he wrote. He vomited, he was cold, we thought that he would die. I called a doctor friend who told me how to make me a tourniquet with my shirt.
There are estimates that up to 100 people were killed when terrorists entered a bar area in the venue’s foyer and mowed concertgoers down with Kalashnikov assault rifles before storming the hall proper and holding the crowd hostage.
In harrowing scenes, members of the public can also be seen dragging away the bodies of the dead or injured. Those cell phone hits helped him escape being hurt during the Paris explosions, and protected his head from flying shrapnel.
