Greg Hardy – Cowboys Delaware suspended for domestic violence – doesn’t apologize

For the first time, he had the chance to address his acts of domestic violence with the media in Dallas. He is eligible to play this week against the New England Patriots.

Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy made headlines this week by talking to the media about not only Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, but also about Brady’s wife, Brazilian model Gisele Bündchen.

Hardy, himself, can not wait to get going again, telling the Cowboys official website: “I hope I come out guns blazin'”. He also wouldn’t mind seeing her sister and friends either.

If there’s one man in professional sports who should be contrite, it’s Hardy.

“Because I’m a Cowboy”, Hardy said.

That’s fine and dandy.

“I love seeing Tom Brady, he’s cool as crap”, said Hardy on Tuesday.

Later, he was asked about playing the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6 and quarterback Blake Bortles, whose girlfriend is supposedly attractive, Hardy said, “Is she?”

Tom Brady didn’t offer much of a response Wednesday, concluding his statement with, “I don’t really care about his personal feelings”.

On the other hand, Jones-as quoted by Melissa Jacobs of SI.com-seemed to echo, if not outright support, Hardy’s comments.

Greg Hardy, now with the Dallas Cowboys, was suspended the first four games of this season after missing all but one contest in 2014 due to the accusations and investigation. “I’m really excited to get out there on that grass or turf and see what they can do”.

The backstory here is a bit convoluted and even more alarming. As they get older or if they feel like they’ve been in something for so long and it’s been hyper-intense and hyper-focused for so long, I think that can wear out a young individual, a young teenager.

“I definitely want to be as versatile as I have been in the past”.

A North Carolina judge convicted Hardy past year, but it was thrown out on appeal in February when the former girlfriend, Nicole Holder, couldn’t be located to testify in a jury trial.

And we wonder why the National Football League has a perception problem.

A few commentators are saying that the exchange proves Hardy’s just not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Talk about being out of touch.
