Greg Hardy Makes Controversial Comments About Tom Brady and His Wife
Greg Hardy is being criticized after being unapologetic in his first media session since his suspension ended.
Finally, there has been push back from the Cowboys regarding defensive end Greg Hardy’s controversial comments about New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s wife. None of the reporters in the Dallas locker room this week called Hardy out on his idiotic and remorseless comments, and Katie Nolan used a segment of her excellent Fox Sports show Garbage Time to go after her colleagues’ carelessness. Hardy’s remarks included comments about Brady’s wife, Gisele Bundchen.
“I hope I come out guns blazing”, Hardy said. Hardy continued. “I hope she comes to the game”.
This offseason, Hardy signed a one-year, $11 million deal with the Cowboys.
“I’m just getting ready to play, man. I’ve got to focus on my job”, Brady said. “He’s a great player”, Brady said. “I’m sure having those two guys back will help them a lot”.
With so many social media platforms in existence these days, it’s easy to get them confused.
“He’s a kid that came up and visited us when I was in Cleveland – Pittsburgh – I remember him when he was just a little guy”. So one would think that Hardy, who is lucky to be playing a game for a living and not in a jail cell, would choose his words carefully as he tries to endear himself back to the general public, right?
The Cowboys defensive end will return to the field Sunday against the Patriots for the first time since September 2014, after his domestic violence incident – which he was initially convicted for – caused him to be suspended by the league. He’s been a great player since he’s been in the league. “We have to watch how they handle the work in practice and make our determination on how much they play this week”.
The 40-year-old Hasselbeck was filling in for Andrew Luck, who missed his second straight game with a shoulder injury.
I’d say he’s making good progress.
“What I remember from being in youth sports, everything was really localized”, said Brady in an interview with WEEI.
