Greg Hardy spars with coach, scolds Cowboys coverage team

Hardy is in his first season with Dallas and missed the first four games while suspended under the NFL’s personal conduct policy while with Carolina. And Coughlin also has 12 in the postseason, with those two championships.

“They’re fighters, they’re scrappy”, Coughlin said after his team won for the fourth time in five games.

Harris wasn’t the only Giant to step up.

Tom Coughlin loved watching his cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie pick off a Matt Cassel pass, but he wasn’t in love with how Rodgers-Cromartie held the ball up high while Cowboys gave chase down the sideline before he scored. “We haven’t made the plays when they were there”, Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee said.

It was expected when they brought Hardy in that there might be a few issues and here we are. And so we can’t make mistakes with the makeup of our roster right now.

A few of the Cowboys’ fighting Sunday was with themselves, as defensive end Greg Hardy quarreled with teammates on the sideline, including injured wide receiver Dez Bryant, after Harris’s touchdown. He refused to disclose what was said.

“He was showing his passion that we gave up the lead and we needed to fix it”, said Dallas safety Danny McCray, a member of the kickoff coverage team.
