Greg Hardy suffers strain, declares: ‘I don’t get hurt’
And the Cowboys fans got a pretty nice donation after asking Hardy if he wanted to kick in.
After a New York Jets fan site flew a banner saying: “CHEATERS LOOK UP!” over the New England Patriots’ opening day of camp, the NFC East stepped in.
Today we received word that the Eagles fans were going to be flying a banner over Cowboys practice that reads “WE GOT DEMARCO”.
By helping pay for a banner to be flown over Philadelphia Eagles training camp, Hardy has done just that. A club official said Hardy will likely be limited Friday and Saturday in what he does during practice, but there’s no concern that the injury will linger or cause him to miss any significant time.
Hardy responded with a $300 donation and a request to change the message to “WE STILL DEM BOYZ!”
Fans aren’t the only ones impressed with Hardy so far, it seems.
“To be honest with you, with Greg right from the start, he was actually going too hard”, coach Jason Garrett told reporters. So he’s a guy that is really committed to being the best that he can be.
On a defense that features rookie linebacker Randy Gregory and lost several key veterans in the offseason, notably ends Anthony Spencer and George Selvie, Hardy is going to need to play a big leadership role on and off the field once he comes back from his suspension. And I feel he needs to be part of one thing particular.
Cowboys proprietor and basic supervisor Jerry Jones stated the group has not had any conversations with Hardy about its choice as as to if he ought to settle for the penalty or search a smaller one.
