Gresham Mom Accused In Shooting Death Of Teenage Son
They arrived at the house on Southeast Rosefinch Drive to find 17-year-old Jacob Davidoff dead from an apparent gunshot wound in the back.
Police officials haven’t released any information on what led up to the shooting.
Police are investigating the alleged homicide of a 17-year-old male who they say was shot and killed by his mother on Thursday, September 24.
Neighbours rarely saw Jacob, according to KPTV, and there are no records of him having attended school for nearly two years.
Davidoff recently lost her job and was in the process of moving out of the property as a result of financial troubles.
According to court records in Multnomah County, the family’s home went into foreclosure in 2012 but the sale was canceled in February 2014.
The mother of a teenager shot to death inside a Gresham home was arrested and will be charged with murder, police told KOIN 6 News. “We feel sick and shocked because a young boy’s life was taken”.

She’d also told her neighbour she couldn’t sleep at night and that she’d recently bought a gun. Maiden even said his daughter and son-in-law were buying the house, and that Dianne and Jacob had been packing and preparing to move out Friday.
Maiden said he was anxious about Dianne’s changing behavior, but never thought this would be the outcome.
“It was a small revolver. she showed it to us tucked in her belt 3 weeks ago”, Maiden said.
Records show Dianne Davidoff of Gresham was booked into jail Friday on accusations of murder and unlawful use of a weapon. Her first court appearance was scheduled for Monday and she is being held without bail.
The couple appear to have been experiencing money problems.
Relatives told KPTV that she may have thought her son was an intruder, and other neighbors said Dianne was troubled, fearful and possibly suffered from delusions.
