Grey Thursday Taking Over Black Friday
When most of us hear the term “Black Friday” we think of an epic shopping day full of packed malls and parking lots, mobs of hungry shoppers and plenty of deals to go around for everyone.
Despite a move to give families some quality time together – Westfield malls will be closed Thanksgiving, as will International Plaza – many stores are opening later Thursday to accommodate shoppers.

Because Cyber Monday takes place online, we won’t see the huge crowds and supermarket punch ups that came to characterise Black Friday.

On Friday, State parks around the USA are offering reduced or free entrance, as an alternative to the consumption focused shopping madness of Black Friday.
