Groom documents lonely bachelor party in Chicago in photos
CHICAGO, IL- Robbie Chernow was looking forward to a fun weekend in Chicago to celebrate his friend Jake’s bachelor party.
Not willing to let the trip be ruined, Robbie tried his best to make the most of the holiday, despite being on his own, and decided to document his trip using the ChicagoForOne hashtag.
That’s what happened to Robbie Chernow, who recently flew to Chicago to meet his groomsmen for a Windy City night on the town.
“I$3 spent 48 hours alone, but luckily, [my friends] have all arrived since then, and now we get to actually celebrate”, said Chernow, who turned his camera around to film his cheering buddies. “But once I landed I was notified that Delta canceled the flight that everyone else was supposed to be on and couldn’t rebook them in a timely fashion”. And he wrote: “Let’s go Bears!” as he took in the game – solo. For one.Taking an artistic selfie with friends. Her and her family sat next to me on the boat (the seats that my friends would’ve been occupying had they made it here). “Nothing sexual! Just tourist activities!”
“I have to hand it to Jake”, he told Mashable. Once he got over the initial shock, he’s had a pretty great time – despite his apparent sadness in every photo. At Portillo’s, a worker named Theresa told him “these sandwiches are normally meant to be shared, but you seem sad enough to finish one by yourself”. He was left staring into the cloudy abyss alone. But, halfway through the action, the loneliness began to hit Chernow, and this set the precedent for the remainder of his solitary Chicago experience.
Hopefully he’s not still waiting on his tour bus. If you want to keep up-to-date with his journey, because it hasn’t ended just yet, head on over to his Instagram account.
