GTA 5 Rockstar Editor coming in next PS4 & Xbox One update
Unfortunately there was no mention of a date so for now it’s really anyone’s guess as to when that will happen. The rumors were started when GTA voice actors Shawn Fonteno and Ned Luke posted a series of photos to social media. The image, which might have been a show of support for “Straight Outta Compton” more than anything else, riled up fans into thinking that it was an actual promotion for an upcoming downloadable DLC.
In “Grand Theft Auto V” you play as not one but three different criminals: a classic bank robber, a young hoodlum and a seedy drug lord.
Rockstar is not saying when the next major update for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 versions of GTA V will be launched, but the very fact that it is talking about it probably means that the company will make an official announcement soon.
GTA V Editor will arrive to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One via the next content update from Rockstar. While there have certainly been games that cast players as the criminal, “Grand Theft Auto” distinguishes itself by depicting the underworld with hyperreal, gritty violence and mayhem, laying out every criminal stereotype in lurid detail. A combination of the franchise’s huge market penetration and keen desire from the GTA community have combined to create a rumor mill so potent that a fully fledged Wikipedia article appeared, prompting reports of the new DLC on a raft of diverse sites and blogs. This just confirms that the rumored “Grove Street Stories” DLC was indeed a hoax.
