GTA Online gets new Adversary mode inspired by American football
The GTA American football-style game allows players to violently drive cars back and forth and to crash into each other.
Rockstar Games has announced a new adversary mode for the online component of Grand Theft Auto V: Running Back, inspired by the aforementioned sport and coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
One player, in a Benefactor Panto, attempts to drive across an end-zone line at the opposite end, while the opposing team must block their passage.
Both teams will be taking control of BF Biftas, except the Runner. The news recently went live over on the Rockstar Games website, where they rolled out the rules of the new Running Back mode.
“GTA V” offers three different maps of locations for teams to square off: Raton Canyon Bridge, La Mesa Bridgem and Zancudo Tunnel, noted VG247.
Rockstar continues updating Grand Theft Auto Online, adding a new Adversary mode to the mix. As a man who’s played 68 hours of GTA 5 (and not a single second in GTA Online), I’ll probably give this new mode a pass. Still, it sounds like semi-stressful/properly frantic addition. The most recent update before this last one involved the lowriders and brand new customization features. I just wonder what sort of transition will take place when they eventually launch GTA VI and how that’s going to work?
GTA’s newly released Running Back adversary mode is in time for Thanksgiving and all-you-can-watch American football.
