But Walton’s line drew laughs anyway on the eve of the Lakers’ second game against the Warriors.

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder by a score of 111-109, as reported by ESPN. The Warriors will certainly be on point against the team that has dealt them one of their two losses of the season; they’ve had a day of rest and are starting to show extended flashes of the dominance we all expected from them coming into the season.

The Lakers certainly would like to see Russell on the court as they chase around Westbrook and attempt to keep him in check.

The Golden State Warriors (12-2) are having a fantastic season right now, winning eight consecutive games following a victory over the Indiana Pacers 120-83.

But, after 2-straight trips to the NBA Finals, one championship and the recent acquisition of Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors will be the team to beat all season long.
