Guardiola to ring changes for Celtic, undecided on Aguero
City is now four points behind Chelsea and in fourth place, but there is no need for panic just yet-even though Sergio Aguero is banned for the next four matches after a deserved red card for a risky foul on David Luiz that incited a full-on fracas.
“With this, it is enough”. It’s more for the club because you won more games. “We are going to talk about (his future) at the end of the season”.
“We lost at home”.
You get the impression, though, that the revelation earlier this season that Roberts is Celtic’s worst performer in training, according to one of his current team-mates at least, would have been noticed by one of Guardiola’s technical staff.
“There will be changes tomorrow, definitely”, Guardiola said.
Carnlough native Rodgers said: “I was really impressed with Patrick in the build-up to this game, because he didn’t show any signs of emotion. Whether Sergio will play or not, I will decide tomorrow”. Without the pressure of getting points, both teams want to compete and win, and that will make for some very fun 90 minutes. Raheem Sterling missed training on Monday, so is unlikely to feature. Like I said previously, the result of this match could do wonders for the team mentally and physically.
“We’re disappointed not to have brought it down to last game but I’m proud of the players and how they have taken on the challenge of such a hard group”, said the Celtic boss.
The Scottish champions have not won a game in Europe’s top-level competition proper since October 2013, while the last of their three victories in England dates back to 2003. The 20 year-old Nigerian hasn’t had a lot of time so far this season, but deserves some time tomorrow to get some match time.
Roberts’s goal means City have recorded just one clean sheet in their last 16 matches, but after the trauma of the loss to Chelsea, in which Fernandinho also saw red, this was a welcome return to normality.
“We have had boys like Kieran Tierney step through and show he can play at that level”. We have coped with that as the games have gone on.
“The scoreline didn’t reflect the way we played”.

Kieran Tierney is out of action due to a cruciate ligament and Scott Sinclair has a thigh problem which will also be sidelined for Celtic.
Guardiola’s men next face a tricky trip to the King Power Stadium on Saturday where they will face a struggling Leicester team looking to bounce back from a defeat to Sunderland.
